What’s Gina Cooking

Website: www.whatsginacooking.com

Contact information:     whatsginacooking@gmail.com

What’s Gina Cooking is a small bite catering company based in Savannah, Georgia specializing in "Southern Soul Fusion" dishes.

My cooking style is heavily influenced by my Gullah and Cuban roots. And I am not afraid to create a dish that pulls from both cultures. From spicy Mojo Red Snapper with grits. To Fried Chicken and Sofrito style Red Rice.

I am the "New Low Country."

What’s Gina Cooking was born from me literally cooking and posting my food on social media, and people wanting to try it!

I now travel to provide personal chef services in home and on site locations.

As an evolving entrepreneur, I am developing a line of dry rubs and spices, along with a delicious array of artisanal grits.

I love to share with others who are looking for their more. This is a quote from Oprah that I keep on my vision board. “Do what you love. Give it back in the form of service, and you will do more than succeed, you will triumph.”

My name is Dayna I am the owner and creator of Sabriolet Designs, a company dedicated to original and unique hand crafted cards, gifts and personalized apparel.

Almost a decade ago I was watching a late night infomercial for a cutting machine.  It intrigued me so much that I pulled out my credit card and a few days later, I was happily cutting paper.  I had no real idea what I was going to do with it, but it seemed cool at a minimum I figured I could use it with my kids for school projects.  Never would I have guessed that a 2 a.m. purchase would eventually lead to a full-fledged love affair with paper, a fulfilling new hobby and ultimately, a business!

Since that fateful late night experience so many moons ago, I have spent many joyful hours in my craft cave creating unique cards for every occasion, personalized apparel, custom picture collages, and many other types of other personal gifts.  Crafting has become a way for me to express myself, to watch something transform, and to see it through from beginning to end.

“There is no force equal to woman determined to rise.” - W.E.B. DuBois

Tandra Taylor is the co-founder and visionary at Tendresse and Sage, a St. Louis based small-batch personal care product brand that specializes in handmade organic soap. Inspired and impassioned by the histories of black women’s indisputable culinary genius and creativity, Tandra created a collection of vegan soap recipes centered on food and botanical ingredients.

Before soap, Tandra was a homeschooling mom and PhD student. Amidst researching and writing, and working odd jobs, Tandra recalled her days at Spelman College as a chemistry student and later memories of trying to source good personal care products for her children (tendresse) and herself (sage).  Together with inspiration from the women she studies, Tandra launched Tendresse and Sage as a home based family business, where she works with her children and brings her full and twisty path of fate and studies to the art of soapmaking.
